The Torrisi family have been producing herbs since 1981 on their family farm near Mareeba, and in this time have developed a high level of expertise in growing and processing high quality herbs, and spinach products. In 1991 my parents John and Gina Torrisi researched ways they could use excess fresh basil in peak growing times and came up with the idea of a puree base product for further manufacturing. Since then we have grown and expanded our puree lines to include Basil, Spinach and Coriander. We also produce rocket, parsley and other herbs on request. We have been supplying the Australian food manufacturing and food service industry for the past 28 years.
